Pipe Foreman


The Pipe Foreman coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.

  • Manages underground water and sewer pipe installation for individual projects.
  • Consistently meets estimated labor production estimates.
  • Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
  • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
  • Builds a productive team by positive attitude and leading by example.
  • Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Writes sufficiently to complete time-sheets, work orders, daily log of work and other reports.
  • Calculate and manage crew production rates.
  • Review and approve material and equipment needs.
  • Maintains construction schedule, identify and solve problems.
  • Understands the project plans and specifications
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
  • Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list.
  • Ensures all company employees and subcontractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
  • Maintains an organized job site.


  • 5+ years of experience in public works or heavy civil construction including: laying 12" -72" pipe for water, sewer, storm drains.
  • Experience installing services, fire hydrants, pipe connections etc. per Standard drawings.
  • Experience with setting up trench shoring in accordance with OSHA Safe Practices.
  • Able to read and understand project plans and specifications.
  • Knowledgeable of MAG Specifications.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).


Project Manager

  • Expertly manage all phases of civil construction on individual projects from $100K- $15,000,000.
  • Calculate and manage crew production rates.
  • Review and approve material and equipment needs.
  • Develop, track and control the project schedule.
  • Manage subcontractors- define scope of work, monitor progress, track payments.
  • Track project costs to complete the project on-time and within budget.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, OR related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
  • Demonstrate strong math and analytical skills to manage projects.
  • Ability to read civil plans.
  • Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.


Underground Pipe Layers

  • Must have experience in underground sewer and water lines. 
  • Experience using pipe laser preferred. 
  • Must be willing to travel to project sites across the state.


Heavy Equipment Mechanic

  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
  • Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
  • Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
  • Schedule maintenance for equipment and keep equipment service records.


Heavy Equipment Operators

  • Must be proficient with backhoe, loader and excavator. 
  • Candidate should have experience digging around underground utilities. 
  • Should be knowledgeable of OSHA trench excavation safety guidelines.
